Should I choose the RUX 40L or 70L?

The 40L is shorter and lighter, ideal for travel, compact kits and under-seat or drawer storage. The 70L suits big-haul missions, basecamp gear and family setups.

Is the RUX 40L waterproof?

Yes. It's made from TPU-coated waterproof nylon with RF-welded seams, sealed with the Press Seal Lid.

Can I take it as carry-on luggage?

Its compact, half-height form factor is designed to be carry-on friendly and fits many overhead bins. Airline size limits vary, so check with your carrier before you travel.

How do I carry it?

As a backpack with the padded straps, over the shoulder with the included shoulder strap, or by the grab handles.

Does it collapse?

Yes. It packs flat to 8 cm tall when empty.

Can I mount it in my vehicle or garage?

Yes. Flush lash points and utility rails let you secure it to racks, boats, vans and ATV trays, and it's compatible with L-Track and slatwall.

How much weight can it carry?

The load limit is 22.6 kg (50 lb).

What accessories work with the 40L?

RUX Packing Cubes, the Soft Cooler Cube, Short Organizer Panels, and RUX Tie-Down and Utility Straps.

What if it breaks?

The RUX 40L is backed by the RUX Lifetime Guarantee. If it fails from normal use, RUX will fix it, replace it or make it right. Replacement RUX Corner Stays 146mm are also available.
