How long does the Soft Cooler Bag keep ice?
It depends on conditions. Ice type and quantity, freezer packs and direct sun all affect retention, and there's no industry standard for measuring it, so fixed claims like "5 days" usually reflect lab conditions rather than real life. RUX has tested the Cooler Bag in a range of conditions and it performs well on day trips and overnight adventures. For best results, pre-chill the contents and keep it out of direct sun.
Is the Soft Cooler Bag waterproof?
Yes. The RF-welded 840D TPU double-side coated nylon, the same material used on the RUX Waterproof Bag and 70L, combines with the roll-top closure to create a water- and dust-proof seal.
Does it fold down?
Yes. It's soft and can be folded and compressed when not in use.
Can I fit a Cooler Bag in a RUX 70L?
Yes. Two Cooler Bags fit in a single RUX 70L, or you can fit one alongside your gear in the other half.
How many Cooler Cubes fit inside?
