Cross Sportswear was founded in 1986 in Gothenburg, Sweden, by two passionate golfers who were frustrated that there was no water resistant rainwear that gave them full freedom of movement on the golf course. Their vision was to develop a technology that enabled rainwear that breathed, was stretchy and at the same time was able to handle Sweden’s harsh climate. The solution was FTX. An ultra-light membrane combined with different outer shell to provide optimal protection against wind and water while releasing body moisture in order to keep the body cool and dry during all 18 holes. The unique FTX technology also proved to be optimal for ski wear clothes where nature puts high demands on strength, mobility and function.
